"Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better..."

It's time to say farewell to burntbutblooming. It's been a wild ride, but, like most good things, has an ending. If you guys need me, I will be at MySixLeggedPace. I could count on less than one hand how many people will understand that. *Shrugs* As is life...

Until then.

I'm almost done with the new site. I love it. You will either hate it or love it. That...I haven't decided on yet. Next post will tell you where to go.

Until then.

So I'm thinking about a new xanga. This one was nice at the time when I got it, but I am just not digging the name. That's what I get for doing something periodic. Stupid teenager. Either way, let me know what you guys think. Because that is definitely going to be the deciding factor in any action I take...

Until then.

Summer Magic

Summer just got here for me. Sunday, I spent the day at the Langs and then hung out with the Youth group that night. How about a somewhat less than comprehensive list of things I want to do this summer?

1. Work thirty to fourty hours a week, preferably at a better paying, more enjoyable job. Which is in the works.

2. Cut and memorize all three of my scripts. Because I have three scripts.

3. Completely clean and organize my room and keep it that way. Today, I started and this is going to be a week-long endeavor.

4. Keep in touch with and hang out with friends from school. It seems every summer I never see them.

5. Spend ALOT of time with ____.

6. See The Killers as my first concert.

7. Nail someone's abode with at least two hundred rolls.

8. Drive to each of these.

I think that is pretty much it. There are alot of little things here and there that I would like to do but these are the highlights. Sounds good, no?

Until then.

Hey again. Thought you weren't going to have to hear from me, didn't you? Then again, you could just not look at my site... Either way I am back and glad to be.

The last two days were definitely training for the road trip I am taking next summer. 16+ hours in the car in two days. None of which is driving time, so that's alot of idle time for the old noggin. "I'm bouncin' off the walls again, waoooh!"

So I met the woman my uncle is engaged to yesterday. She is yet another testament to the ever aggresive, German, female population. Goodness, those people will say anything!

Hurry up, Mrs. Lang! I brache mehr arbeit! Plus, how much fun would that be? Exactly.

I think I found a keeper. I'll keep you posted on that one.

Ten bucks Momma L asks about that. Wow, two references in one post?! Can you tell I have cabin fever?

U-haul cabin, to be precise.

I think that's all I have. Anything more would be even less coherrent. You can thank me later.

Until then.
